ABBYY Appoints Torsten Malchow as Vice President Head of Global Enterprise Sales

Will Champion Vast Market Adoption of ABBYY Content Intelligent Solutions

ABBYY, a global provider of content intelligent solutions and services, today announced Torsten Malchow has joined the company as Vice President, Head of Global Enterprise Sales. He will be driving the development and execution of sales strategies that expand ABBYY’s presence in targeted industries and regions.

“Torsten is well respected among enterprise solution organizations and will be great asset for our global sales team as they focus on aggressive market penetration for our leading content intelligent solutions and services,” stated Ulf Persson, CEO of ABBYY. “His leadership will be significant contributor to ABBYY’s continued double-digit revenue growth goals.”

Torsten has more than 20 years of experience working in enterprise software solutions and has led teams in direct sales, partner sales and business development, and drove significant revenue among verticals in the US, DACH region and emerging markets. Prior to joining ABBYY, he was Vice President, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) at Kofax. He previously co-founded and was Chief Sales Officer at Foxray, a company specializing in enterprise solutions and BPA, prior to it being acquired in three separate acquisitions with Readsoft, Lexmark and Kofax.
